About the Event
Welcome Picnic is an annual MFIS event held at the beginning of the fall semester to welcome newly-arriving international students, scholars and their families. Brittingham Park, located on Monona Bay, is a perfect setting to enjoy a fall day in Madison. Each year hundreds of international visitors gather with Madison community members for a day of food, fun and friendship.
- Make connections with students and residents.
- Enjoy a typical Wisconsin picnic lunch.
- Sing along with UW cheer songs.
- Play games.
