Welcome Picnic
Welcome Picnic is an annual MFIS event held at the beginning of the fall semester to welcome newly-arriving international students, scholars and their families. Brittingham Park, located on Monona Bay, is a perfect setting to enjoy a fall day in Madison. Each year hundreds of international visitors gather with Madison community members for a day of food, fun and friendship.

The 2026 MFIS Fall Welcome Picnic was held on Sunday, September 6 at Brittingham Park (829 West Washington Avenue, Madison). Thank you to all the students who attended and the volunteers who made the event happen!
