Welcome Picnic
Welcome Picnic is an annual MFIS event held at the beginning of the fall semester to welcome newly-arriving international students, scholars and their families. Brittingham Park, located on Monona Bay, is a perfect setting to enjoy a fall day in Madison. Each year hundreds of international visitors gather with Madison community members for a day of food, fun and friendship.

Thank you to all our volunteers and international students/scholars who attended our 2024 Welcome Picnic on
Saturday, August 31 at Brittingham Park. It was a wonderful event filled with food, games, and most importantly welcoming conversations. We will post 2025 Welcome Picnic dates in the summer of 2025. In the meantime, here are some photo highlights from this year's picnic:
